Weiners HWSETA Full-time Courses

All courses offered through WTDA are accredited with the Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA). Our academy has highly qualified Facilitators, Assessors and Moderators to provide Quality of Education & Training by offering Theorical and Practical experience to ensure best Programme Delivery.

Our aim is to fully equip our learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to be the best caregivers they can be. Our academy aims to acknowledge each student, and treat them as individuals who have different strengths and weaknesses.

The WTDA Campus has comfortable classrooms and equipment that is designed to simulate the health and welfare environment. We run our practicals at appropriate retirement villages and hospices in order to provide students with practical experience and give them a window into the world of caregiving to ensure that they are prepared to enter once they are trained and certified.

Competent caregivers who have completed their studies at our academy have the option to apply at our sister company Complete Care for employment.

Community Health Work
Full-time Course

Students who complete this course will become a competent Community Health Worker and will be able to deliver a service that will assist communities to better manage their own health and wellness needs employed.
30% Theory & 70% Practical

Entrant Requirements:
Competent in English
Grade 11

Course Duration:
12 Months

Ancillary Health Care
Full-time Course

Students who complete this course will be able to become a caregiver and provide fundamental nursing care for a frail person, work in retirement homes with the aged or with people that need post-operative care, and also end of life care.
30% Theory & 70% Practical

Grade 11

12 Months
